Parents' Council at the Primary School and Kindergarten Bystričany

The activities of the Parents' Council are very important for our primary school with kindergarten in Bystričany. Many may not even know that the Parents' Council at the Primary School with Kindergarten in Bystričany always meets at the beginning of the school year. The Parents' Council at the Primary School with Kindergarten in Bystričany is made up of elected representatives of parents from individual classes. Since 2003, the Parents' Council has been a member of the Slovak Council of Parents' Associations, registered under registration number 1767. The members of the council jointly organize the planning of events such as the Šarkaniáda on the playground of TJ Dynamo Bystričany, the Carnival in the cultural center in Bystričany, Children's Day on the school grounds or the Retro party in the cultural center in Bystričany. In addition to these events, however, they also help out at the Christmas markets in the village, at the village winter games, at the ice rink and the like. The money, which is obtained either from events or by donating 2% of taxes, is also used, for example, for travel expenses for children, trips, Olympics, tools, toys for the school club or kindergarten. The time spent preparing for events and much more is dealt with voluntarily by parents in their free time. Unfortunately, today there are few people willing to help, but we are happy that even in today's busy times there are still those who find the time.
