Civic association CAPINA

On December 18, 2009, the CAPINA Civic Association was established in our village, which has been led by Marek Dobiš from the position of chairman since its inception, and is currently supplemented by Martin Rendek (vice chairman), Tomáš Plachý, Štefan Tesarovič Jr. and Anton Dobiš. The association currently has 51 members, mainly from Vieka. For its members, as well as the general public, it organizes various cultural and social events, of which the label "traditional" has earned the Vtáčnik climb on the occasion of the May holidays, a barbecue for children at the MDD, Summer festivities over the summer, Children's meeting with Nicholas and Backpack New Year's Eve.

The association founded a badminton league in the 2015/2016 season.
