Waste management

Waste management is a very important topic. It is an indisputable fact that in the last few decades, as many natural resources have been extracted as in the entire history of the Earth. Since the industrial revolution, we have jumped on the wave of progress, we have become enthusiastic about material comfort. But at the same time, we have polluted clean rivers, oceans, air in an incredible way and flooded our surroundings with waste. Therefore, in times when we are already living on ecological debt, it is important to think about what we can do to better use the resources that planet Earth offers us. Waste production is an accompanying feature of human life and therefore cannot be avoided. However, the problem with waste begins much earlier than we fill the bins with it. For example: did you know that each citizen of our municipality produces an average of 429 kilograms of waste per year, but with proper recycling, we could reuse up to 84 percent of this amount? Our sorting percentage is currently at 50.24%, which is a very good number compared to other municipalities. You can find out a lot of necessary information in our waste management, just click.
