Reception of the jubilants of the village in 2024

On November 19, 2024, invited guests met in the hall of our cultural center to celebrate their beautiful life anniversaries. Mayor of the village Mgr. Filip Lukáč, together with the members of the Civil Affairs Corps of the Bystričany municipality, solemnly welcomed the citizens who lived to see their round jubilee in 2024. The mayor of the village addressed all the celebrants with his ceremonial speech, and after writing in the memorial book, each celebrant received a small gift and a flower from the hands of the mayor.
This year's reception of the jubilants of the village was a little more special, as we had the honor and could welcome our oldest citizen, Anna Pravdová, who celebrated her beautiful 100th birthday in November of this year. This event was festive and special not only for her closest but also for our entire village. She was blessed with an old age, and it is she who has been called the "oldest citizen of the village" for a few years now. The mayor of the village congratulated the jubilant on behalf of the village and its citizens, who, in addition to a bouquet of flowers, also prepared a small gift, which was used to bake a cake on the occasion of her extraordinary life anniversary. Despite her old age, Mrs. Anna Pravdová came personally, accompanied by her son and daughter-in-law.

rocked by memories...

Life is a gift and a miracle,
Although sadness sometimes appears in him.
Well, there is good in this world even if you are old,
if in soul and in love you are a child.

We express our respect and gratitude to the accepted jubilarians for their life achievements, experiences and contribution to our community. We appreciate this rare opportunity to thank them for all they have done for us and we can show them the thanks and recognition they deserve. At the same time, we wish everyone who accepted the invitation to this event, as well as those who could not participate due to health or other reasons, good health, happiness, understanding and joy in life.
