Extraordinary emergency measures to prevent the spread of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD)

In connection with the spread of the SLAK (foot-and-mouth disease) disease in Slovakia, the Government of the Slovak Republic declares an Emergency Situation on March 25, 2025 throughout the territory of the Slovak Republic.

We hereby call on all breeders in the cadastral area of the municipality of Bystričany to register unregistered animals in the Central Register of Livestock in accordance with Section 19 of Act No. 39/2007 Coll.

Due to the emergency situation , PREVENTIVE MEASURES must be observed in the event of foot-and-mouth disease.
